Impressions
Inspired by Jeffrey Becom, I am always taken by the shape and color found in old world architecture. As I view these images they beg to be simplified so as to accentuate just those elements. Thus begins my Impressions Series.

Impressions Series Not truly a casbah, but really the Medina of Rabat, Morocco. The scene struck me as more of a Greek village than the old quarter in an Arab North African city.

Impressions Series Walking in the footsteps on Van Gough.

Impressions Series Portofino Italy. Nothing more need be said.

Impressions Series Kolmanskop is an abandoned ghost town in the Namib Desert, Namibia. Where a once thriving diamond mine existed it is now overtaken by sand.

Impressions Series Vincent may be disappointed in my attempt but I had to give it my best, even though I was there in the late afternoon rather than a starry sky evening.

Impressions Series Tomar Portugal is a beautifaul midieval town which is most known for its castle and the Convent of Christ church built by the Knights Templar.
